David Turner and Bruce Duckworth founded their eponymous design studio in London in 1992 after meeting at the design firm Minale Tattersfield. Bruce Duckworth graduated from Kingston Polytechnic with an honours degree in graphic design in 1985, while David Turner established the San Francisco office shortly after the London launch.
The partnership operates with studios in both London and San Francisco, with Bruce running the London office and David based in California. Their collaborative approach combines British and American design sensibilities to create distinctive brand identities.
Turner Duckworth has won over 250 design awards including D&AD Yellow Pencils, the inaugural Cannes Design Lions Grand Prix, the first design accepted into the Clio Hall of Fame, and a Grammy Award. Their client portfolio includes major global brands across food, beverage, technology, and retail sectors.
