MRT 2 (МРТ 2) is a prominent television channel in North Macedonia, owned and operated by Macedonian Radio-Television (MRT). Launched on March 6, 1978, as the Second Program of Televizija Skopje, it initially aired once a week and later expanded its programming. The channel has undergone several transformations, particularly in its focus on minority communities within the country. Since 2020, MRT 2 has exclusively broadcast in Albanian, following the political reforms that led to the establishment of MRT 4, which caters to other ethnic minorities such as Turkish, Serbian, Romani, Vlach, and Bosnian communities.
