QDOBA (also known as Qdoba Mexican Eats) is a chain of fast-casual restaurants in the United States and Canada serving Mexican-style cuisine. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in San Diego, California, QDOBA is the No. 2 player and No. 1 franchisor of Mexican fast-casual dining in North America. The company was sold to a consortium of funds led by Apollo Global Management in March 2018 after 15 years as a wholly owned subsidiary of Jack in the Box, and was later acquired by Butterfly Equity in October 2022. Currently, QDOBA is owned by Modern Restaurant Concepts, a fast-casual restaurant platform that is a portfolio company of Butterfly Equity.

As of May 2022, QDOBA operates over 750 fast-casual restaurant locations throughout the United States with 12 locations in Canada, serving fresh, responsibly sourced Mexican-style food in a modern, vibrant atmosphere. The menu features burritos, tacos, quesadillas, bowls, salads, and sides made with fresh ingredients including queso (cheese sauce), which is central to their brand philosophy with the slogan “Life is like a burrito. It needs more queso”. QDOBA emphasizes quality ingredients, customizable menu items, and a fast-casual dining experience that allows customers to build their own meals according to their preferences.

Frequently asked questions about the QDOBA logo

The QDOBA Mexican Eats logo represents a Food brand from United States. Learn more on the official QDOBA website.

Why is the QDOBA logo in SVG format?
The QDOBA logo is provided as an SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) file because vectors offer unlimited scaling without pixelation, smaller file sizes than raster images, and are ideal for responsive web design. SVG logos work perfectly across all screen sizes — from mobile devices to billboard prints — maintaining crisp edges at any resolution.
Should I use SVG or PNG for the QDOBA logo?
Use SVG for websites, apps, and any digital design requiring scalability. SVG files are resolution-independent and load faster. Use PNG (converted from SVG at 300 DPI) for presentations, printed materials, or software that doesn’t support SVG. Convert using Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer, or online tools like CloudConvert. Export at 300 DPI for print, 72-150 DPI for web.
What software can open the QDOBA SVG logo?
The QDOBA SVG logo opens in both code editors (VS Code, Sublime Text, Notepad++) and graphic design software (Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Sketch, Inkscape). Modern web browsers can also display SVG files directly. For quick edits, online editors like SVGEdit or Method Draw work without installing software.
What font does the QDOBA logo use?
Many professional brands, including QDOBA, use custom-designed typefaces for their logos to ensure unique brand identity and trademark protection. If the QDOBA logo uses a custom font, no exact public version may exist. For similar typography, analyze the logo’s letter characteristics (serif vs sans-serif, weight, spacing) and search font databases like WhatTheFont, Identifont, or MyFonts for close alternatives.
What is a Logo or Logotype?
A logo is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol used to aid public identification and recognition. Logos fall into three classifications: ideographs (abstract forms), pictographs (iconic designs), and logotypes/wordmarks (text-based). The logo is central to a brand’s visual identity system.
Can I use the QDOBA logo legally?
The QDOBA logo is a registered trademark and cannot be used commercially without explicit written permission from QDOBA. This website provides the logo for educational, informational, and reference purposes only. For commercial projects, partnerships, or official brand assets, contact QDOBA’s communications or legal department directly.
Where can I find QDOBA brand guidelines?
Official QDOBA brand guidelines typically include logo usage rules, color codes, typography, spacing requirements, and prohibited modifications. Check the QDOBA website for a “Brand,” “Press,” “Media Kit,” or “Resources” section. Official assets are also available through press kits and authorized partner portals.
Do I need to credit logotyp.us when using the QDOBA logo?
No attribution to logotyp.us is required. However, the QDOBA logo itself is trademarked intellectual property — using it requires permission from QDOBA, regardless of where you downloaded it. This site serves as a reference library; downloading a logo here does not grant usage rights.
