TikTok is an iOS and Android social media video app for creating and sharing short lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos. The app was launched in 2017 by ByteDance, for markets outside of China. ByteDance has previously launched Douyin (Chinese: 抖音) for the China market in September 2016. TikTok and Douyin are the same, but run on different servers to comply with Chinese censorship restrictions. The application allows users to create short music and lip-sync videos of 3 to 15 seconds and short looping videos of 3 to 60 seconds. It is popular in Asia, United States, and other parts of the world. TikTok is not available in China and its servers are based in countries where the app is available.
The History of TikTok’s Logo Design
Today, it is more not unexpected for organizations to drastically change their logos over the years than it is for an organization to stay with their unique logo plan. So, however, the TikTok image is an exemption from this standard. Today, TikTok actually utilizes basically the logo image they planned when the application was first delivered in 2016. The plan had gone through just minor amendments from that point forward.
The TikTok logo configuration was made by an anonymous originator who is said by TikTok to have been motivated by a show he went to before being welcomed to plan the logo. The originator apparently needed to make a plan that would imitate the energy of going to a significant show to feature the capable substance makers on the application and exhibit the diversion esteem they are advertising. The plan includes the letter “d” displayed looking like a melodic note, addressing how the application was named Douyin. Regardless of how the application’s name was changed to TikTok when it was delivered universally, the organization actually kept this equivalent plan.
While most clients don’t understand that the “d” in the TikTok logo configuration was intended to represent the application’s unique name, the plan is unmistakable all around the world and has assumed a critical part in TikTok’s advertising.

Design Elements of the TikTok Logo
The anonymous fashioner answerable for making the TikTok logo was, as per TikTok, “a young fellow who loves going to shows, particularly stage performances.” His motivation for the plan probably came from a craving to copy the experience of a concert attendee who is encircled by dimness, gazing toward a brilliant and beautiful stage.
To make this experience, the fashioner picked a dark foundation for the logo then, at that point, added a beautiful electronic wave impact to give the plan to a greater extent a three-dimensional look. The splendid neon blue and red tones that he utilized for this impact are like the neon lights you would see at a show.
Picking a melodic note for the plan’s premise was a conspicuous decision given TikTok’s pleasant nature. Picking a message that resembles the letter “d” was a deliberate gesture to the application’s unique name.
