TriHealth (trihealth.com) is a unified, nonprofit health system based in Cincinnati, Ohio, originally formed in 1995 and serving communities across Hamilton, Butler, Clinton, and Warren counties in southwest Ohio, as well as the broader Tri-State region. The system’s mission is to improve the health status of the people it serves by providing a full range of health-related services including prevention, wellness, education, and social programs.
TriHealth operates four general hospitals: Bethesda North Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda Butler Hospital, and McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, along with two regional free-standing emergency medical centers (Bethesda Arrow Springs and Good Samaritan Western Ridge). The system also includes over 140 other TriHealth locations, making it highly accessible with primary care practices usually no more than 15 minutes from where most patients live in the four-county area.
As one of the largest employers in greater Cincinnati, TriHealth employs approximately 12,000–13,000 team members, 2,000 physicians, and 1,600 volunteers dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate care. The health system’s non-hospital services include physician practice management, fitness centers, occupational health centers, home health, and hospice care, with the TriHealth Fitness & Health Pavilion located in Montgomery being Ohio’s first certified medical fitness facility recognized by the Medical Fitness Association.
