vMix is a complete professional live video production and live streaming software solution that enables users to create, mix, switch, record, and broadcast high-quality live productions directly from a Windows PC or laptop. Developed by StudioCoast PTY LTD, this proprietary vision mixer software supports inputs from cameras, IP cameras, video files, images, NDI sources, SRT streams, virtual sets, titles, audio, instant replay, video calls, Zoom meetings, and more, with resolutions up to SD, HD, and 4K. The latest version, vMix 29, is now available as a free update for users who purchased vMix after January 2023.
vMix allows users to add multiple cameras, videos, NDI sources, remote guests using vMix Call, images, audio, web streams, PowerPoint presentations, titles, virtual sets, chroma key effects, and much more to their production, then simultaneously display, record, and live stream everything at the same time. The software functions as a complete TV studio on a regular computer, making it suitable for live talk shows, sports broadcasts, esports coverage, vlogs, training sessions, live events, houses of worship services, social media streams, and professional productions. Key features include live streaming to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or custom RTMP locations, image magnification (IMAG) capabilities, and projection needs with configurable external output and display options.
